From what I've read it takes twenty to thirty minutes for the stomach to signal the liver about the excess fat (the olive oil), and for the liver to respond by squirting out bile and hopefully a bunch of stones. If you can lie still and keep the oil in your stomach for that long, everything should be alright. If you listen carefully you can hear your gallbladder squirt.
