You are not alone! I am in a similar situation...doctors (many) say everything is fine according to all the tests, but I still have upper back pain, and notice that my liver "feels heavy" at times (among other things). I wish I had a definite answer for you, but I'm still going through this as well.
I have done 10 flushes, and continue to get 100s of stones out each time. The theory is that we are truly cleansing "stones" that have been blocking biliary ducts for years, and since they all can't come out at once, we get some residual pain/discomfort from the stones moving until the liver/GB is all clear.
Like you, I'm anxious to hear from others who have made it to the other side on this cleansing method. I've read some of their stories in the Archives, but would like to see some current responses. My optimistic side tells me that if they truly are "clear", they may not be as regular at monitoring this site?!?!
Per some of the other posts, you may want to consider taking some of the herbs that will aid in crushing/softening the stones (www.sensiblehealth.com). You might want to also speak with Julia, (from sensiblehealth) as she has personally gone down this path.
I'm thankful that we have this forum to find out that we're not alone...and this isn't "all in our heads"...
Cautiously Optimistic,
John
