I remember reading on another forum (microelectricity germ killer) that it is believed that herpes virus travels along the nerves often starting at the spine and going out from there. It might be worth a try to place one end of the zapper at the base of the spine and the other at the site of the infection/outbreak and see what kind of results you get.
