well apearantly according to Hulda Clark (I need to get around to Reading her book)it doesn't Really matter about freqency and if you wanted to you could just tap a 9 volt battery like 10 times a second or something and that would work but your finger gets tired of that befor the first session is done and that's whythese devises are good.
