I have read in a Chinese medicine book that pathogens prefer "damp" body conditions to grow in. I googled foods to counteract dampness and found a list.

From this list I made the following recipe for shrimp stew:
Ingredients:
1 lb medium sized cooked shrimp
1 cup cooked rye berries (soak overnight, bring to boil with 1 part rye berries to 1 part water, lower heat simmer for 1 1/2 hours)
8 chopped and boiled Celery stalks
8-12 large boiled radishes
white pepper (I put in 2 TBS and it really helped but it was painfully hot)
Use the water from boiling the vegetables and simmer the ingredients together. (The longer it simmers, the more likely the rye beans will turn soupy for the stew-like broth) I simmered it watchfully for about 1/2 adding water as needed. After i took it off the heat I added about
1/4 cup of vinegar
2 large boiled turnips
It was pretty good. I stored it in a casserole dish and it was really good the next day. I got rid of a lot of water.
