The SIMPLE solution is USE COTTON SLEEVES over the pipes,,, and MOISTEN THEM.... also... Lapis recommendation of using EMU oil worked GREAT for me with my RSG-1 on Beck's 4 hz pulsing mode (wrists).

This is an easy, simple, solution. No burns, just put on the cotton sleeves, moisten (keep moist) and ZAP away!
