A few months ago i bought a medicinal clay (light gray lumps) to a herb vendor in Lima. Here in Perú it has been used by indian peasants for centuries, so i decided to try it.

I dont remember the quechua (native language)name. I found results positive, but as the quantity was small it didnt last long. I have used psyllium for a few years but the GNC store in Lima closed down.I it can be found in a Pharmacy it will be 50% costlier. Would be interesting to use them together to combine benefits!


My question are: Is the clay I describe the same bentonite?
Is it true that it should not be mixed with a metal spoon?
