I think it slipped by in the quiet Sunday - but SqueakyClean posted a GREAT and very interesting, lengthy post you won't want to miss. Her post is called (umm, I forget exactly...) something like FOOD: KNOWLEDGE VS PRACTICE for gourmets.

If you aren't aware of it, SqueakyClean is quite knowledgeable on the dynamics of food - both individually and as groups - their benefits and their dangers. Plus she is a gourmet cook and appreciator.

So she goes into detail on what and how she eats, what to do at restaurants, what about meat rotting etc, and other applicable details, then ties it all together very neatly.

For those of us looking to reshape our eating habits and find a balance between revised/healthy, but not relinquishing all the pleasure of the past ways of eating, her post is a must read.
