truth is not about following customs, whether those customs are good or bad. truth is about demonstrating the love of Chrsit to our fellow man. when a custom aids us in doing so, its a good thing. when a custom prevents us from doing so, its not a good thing. just because a custom is followed in some part of the bible, doesn't mean i am bound to that custom for the rest of my life.

love your neighbor as yourself, love the Lord your God with all your heart soul and mind. those are the two commandments that sum up all commmandments. i don't think coverine your head is a pre-requisite to love.
