well thats your explanation, but i would really like to hear BTDT's or Ev's. I htink the pastor in the aricle you linked is being honest, he is saying that if i have a literal interpretation of the bible, then i can't let this old lady teach. but if he does allow the old lady to teach, then what is his basis for doing so? just saying its a "cultural thing" or whatver doesn't cut it for me.

like i say, i have my own explanation, but i know most christians would not agree.
