well MAYBE....

some aliens are actually fallen angels in disguise

some aliens are angelic creatures from heaven

some aliens are visitors from other planets with evil intent

some aliens are visitors form other planets with good intent

some aliens are visitors from other planets with neutral intent

some aliens are in league with dark forces in our gov

some aliens are battling against the dark forces within our gov

some aliens are.....?

maybe there is more than one explanation and the word "alien" get attached to a lot of different phenomenon.
