the crusades were a clash of cultures, religions, and two very different ways of thinking. both sides committed atrocities when they had the chance, moslems in the name of Allah, Christians in the name of Jesus. both sides were equally wrong in this. it is not the Creators will for us to slaughter each other in the name of God, or the name of anything else for that matter.

going back and saying that one side or the other were the real murdering bastards and the other side were the innocent victims in my opinion in pointless. the jews and arabs have been doing that for several thousand years, where has that gotten them?
