"Do you realize that Jesus Christ controls history. Not one thing ever happened or ever will happen without His permission. If He allows children to suffer then He has a reason, whither it's to our satisfaction or not."

I read somewhere that God sometimes makes suffering so that others CAN use their love and charity to help others.
