No, you gave me a quote about "the way" and equated that to the simple joy I was asking about. Even if they are the same -- that "joy" and "the way" are actually the same -- that man's "way" leads to death does not really answer my question.

Let's just shorten the argument. If you meant to say that man's search for joy is a route to death, then that begs the question, "Why does it lead to death?" And every additional answer you can offer will still beg the question, "Why?" And the only "ultimate" (OK, penultimate) answer I can reach is "because God wants you to suffer unless you do exactly as he dictates", and then I get to "Why?" again. Why do (some) "devout" Christians believe in a tyrant as God?

Might explain why they support one in the White House...
