Thanks for responding, bit of a horror story! I sympathise with your mum.

My skin has improved somewhat with protopic, although I find after a while it just doesn't work, I then resort to Eumovate which probably as you know is milder but still steroidal, Elocon to the flexures.

I have in the past tried all kinds of treatments ranging from homoeopathy, accupuncture, chinese herbs, special diets, hypnosis & allergy tests. All to no avail!

These manufacturers should publish these horror stories & let the public at large choose for themselves :-)
