Since reading that book I have recognised bits and pieces in the bible that strike me as never before. Especially in the psalms. I was never truly hit with the impact of the "pit" or hell before reading that book.

BUT! Sometimes one must admit that what one has to say will not alter another's opinion at all. Personally I find the complete denial of hell a little confusing. If Jesus said so, it is so! But I do understand how you would be uncomfortable acknowledging the existance of hell. But I won't push a point that will do you no good, at least coming from me. I pray that you eventually realize that there is a consequence for negative choices. Just how that consequence actually happens doesn't really matter, what matters is that it does.
