If "god" is masterful like you imply, why would "he" in all "his" super powers need to create Eve from a rib?

Sounds like Cloning to me.

Which brings me to the question, just who or what is this lesser god? Alien race playing creator?

Check out Genesis some time. God is referenced as Gods. Then we have nefilim, etc. Casts some new light on things.
Would explain a lot about the imperfections and inconsistencies (manipualtions) of a "jealous" god (alien race) wouldn't it?
