I actually have a forum on early Christianity myself, (and another on politics and conspiracies). Everyone there, even the traditional Christians are somewhat more open than here. They will consider and acknowledge the validly of others beliefs, even if they stick to their own. (BTW, The western Christian tradition has been so added to, edited, and plain re-written over the centuries, it reads like a conspiracy).

A lot of Christians can see that, and take it in stride. They still 'believe', and I say good for them to stick to their guns. However to deny that Christianity has been carefully shaped by 'men with agendas' that date back to the beginning is not to face the facts. And to deny the validity of the other Christian believers, (and label them heretics) just because they don't fit in the narrow guidelines of the western tradition is not 'good work'...

I just have to take issue with those who do no independent investigation, and study no teachings, except for a very closed-off and shoe-boxed collection of narrow, dogmatic (and without doubt) tampered with writings from the dawn of Christianity.

I am not trying to convert anyone or change their beliefs, I simply wish to simply open their minds to new and potentially spiritually enlightening ideas.

It is up to them to enter into a dialog and 'perhaps' gain more knowledge and insight, or they can simply remain in the same spiritual grade for the rest of their lives.

Their choice...
