That's been the problem the whole time, no one knows what Christianity is. To be objective, Christianity should be that which ALL who call themselves 'Christians' can agree upon. From all I've read, and I've been reading about it all my life, there is one thing Christianity is defined by:

The Bible.

Without it, especially the writings of Paul, it doesn't exist. To claim that Christianity was "hijacked" BY CHRISTIANS is an absurdity. It is what CHRISTIANS define it to be, not what others think it should be. All denominations that have historically been accepted as Christian hold the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments to be the Word of God. Some would add to that, but all would agree to those 66 books as above reproach.

So to qualify as debate on CHRISTIANITY a person would never try to throw out half the New Testament, or add sources that (a)the Christian majority does not accept or (b)blatantly contradict the other 66 books.

Otherwise, there's no way to distinguish this forum from the Religion forum.
