Rudy, pleeease. Do you really think that's what's in the minds and hearts of people who believe there is a hell to be saved from?
That is a horrible and cruel thing, I have never heard anyone say anything like that. And I have heard some pretty bitter things out of the mouth of some christians!

The fact is, God does not wish anyone to perish, but come to repentance and eternal life through Jesus Christ. If we say we are after God's heart, then that is what's in God's heart. That some people do not express this as elegantly or delicately as they should, does not mean that in their hearts they want God to strike sinners dead!!! How utterly awful that would be, and how contrary to the real ddesires of anyone wanting to reach out with the message of salvation!

I really do understand the burning desire that you have developed to express and inspire love in your fellow human beings. It is something I've always loved about you and I never get tired of hearing you say it at every opportunity. Sometimes in the midst of heat, your words fall like a soothing balm. Somehow, in my own way I tell you sincerely, I share that passion too, always have. But I wish you would stop characterizing all christians who interpret from scripture that there is a literal hell, as potential nazis ready for the kill. Plese my brother, would you open up your heart to what is truly being said?
