A white lie. That phrase should be wiped out, it has a very racist origin. I don't find it offensive, i even from time to time say such things, but i think our language needs cleansing.
I know you didn't intend for it to be racist, Klyd. :) These racist terms have been burned into our subconscious. We all say them without thinking about what they mean.
