I use the Catholic New American Bible, but no, I am not catholic, and that has NOTHING to do with the facts that I've presented :)

The Obelisk still stands ERECT in the Vatican Courtyard in the middle of the SUN disc to this very day:

[Jer 43:13] He shall smash the obelisks of the temple of the sun in the land of Egypt and destroy with fire the temples of the Egyptian gods.
