Hello zule,
The 'LAW' is a subject that, for the Christian, is difficult to express properly (except in the heart). Not that it helps much in explanation, but the Ten Commandments were given to us to show us (humanity) how imperfect (and sinful) we are and that we couldn't return to where we came from (God) on our own (and needed HIS help, God had no delusion that we could FULFIL them PERFECTLY). Are you beginning to see, that, because of your sincerity, God has guided you to that word "FULFIL"? I am hard pressed to even mention the subject of new testament LAW because it is not what should motivate a Christian to live a Christian lifestyle, the Holy Spirit is, but in John 14:15, we are told "If you love me, keep my COMMANDMENTS" (not LAW). John 15:12 "This is my COMMANDMENT...". Notice,...COMMANDMENT is singular, Romans 13:10 "THIS is my commandment, that you love one another AS I HAVE LOVED YOU...therefore LOVE is the FULFILLING of the law". God GRACIOUSLY sent His own Son that we may have eternal life. So, that you speak of this LAW OF GRACE (usually we make a VERY clear distinction between LAW and GRACE because it's VERY necessary to do so (in human terms, because of our natural limitations Rom. 6:19), but, NEW TESTAMENT law IS a "LAW OF GRACE". HOWEVER, we are not to use our freedom in Christ as an excuse to sin.
