Don't let a few bad apples ruin you experiencing the God fully moving in your life. After all, that is what satan wants.

I've debated this before on this forum, and therefore will not do it again. I stand firm, in believing that God does provide miracles and the Holy Spirit is just the same today as He was in the book of Acts.

That said, let me explain what this scripture passage means:

>>"Not everyone who says to me, `Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, `Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?' Then I will tell them plainly, `I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!'" Matthew 7:21-23<<

It is explaining that the religious folk, [just like the pharisees] will come and prophesy and proclaim miracles in the name of Jesus, however their hearts are not right with Jesus,[they are hypocrites] therefore when they meet the Lord, He will simply say He does not know them. Read the whole chapter not just two verses.
