Why is Evolution such an important issue?

1)Evolution is the foundation of every academic discipline.
2)Evolution makes moral absolutes impossible
3)Evolution destroys the foundation of the Gospel

Because of the failure to find an absolute mechanism to explain evolution a number of scientists are becoming skeptical.

Here are a few quotes from some of these:

Ernt Mayr:
“In the last analysis, nature provides no empirical support for our view”
Dr. Pierre P Grasse
“Biological evolution does not stand up to an objective, in-depth criticism”
G.A. Kerkut
“The attempt to explain all living forms in terms of evolution is not supported by present day evidence”
Michael Denton
“The Darwinian theory of evolution is no more nor less than the greatest cosmogenic myth of the twentieth century”
Julien Huxley
“Evolution is a religion without revelation”
Jeremy Rifkin
“Evolution must be a matter of personal faith”
L. Harrison Matthews
“Belief in the theory of evolution is exactly parallel to belief in special creation. Both are concepts which believers know to be true, but neither has been capable of proof”

Of course we know we have proof of God don’t we? We know what we're saying
because there is a God who reveals himself to those with open hearts.
Because of an encounter with him that revolutionized our lives.
Because it is the only thing that answers all the major questions that man has.
Because he left us a record of his thoughts in the Bible.
Because of the testimony he has given us in the world.

Heres another quote I found

Michael Denton
“ Darwin observed changes within species and immediately jumped to the conclusion that it was responsible for the transformation of one species into another. The facts just do not support the theory.”

Quote from Newsweek
“The central question of the Chicago convention was whether the mechanics underlying Micro evolution can be used to explain macro evolution. The answer is a clear NO”

Heres some more quotes

Charles Darwin
“Geology does not reveal any gradual changed, and this is the most obvious objection that can be raised against any theory of evolution.”

C.S. Raup
“We are now about 120 years after Darwin and knowledge of the fossil record has been greatly expanded. Ironically we have even fewer examples of evolutionary transition than we did in Darwin’s time”.

Isnt that a funny one…Dawin said theres NO gradual changes and Raup says 120 years later theres even less…so today there less than zero proof from the fossil records…seems to me Darwin made his theory hoping someone would prove it later.

David Kitts
“Evolution requires intermediate forms between the species and paleontology does not provide them”

Stephen Jay Gould
“The extreme rarity of transitional forms is the trade secret of paleontology”

Lord Zuckerman
“If man evolved from an ape-like creature, he did so without leaving a trace in the fossil record”

Here are some Statistical probabilities referring to the mathematical chances evolution happened.
Fred Holye
A. Compared the odds of a single protein evolving by chance to the same odds of solving the Rubiks cube blindfolded.
B. Making one turn per second you would eventually solve the puzzle in 2,364,000,000,000 years.
C. And there are over 2,000 proteins that perform the essential functions of cellular metabolism.
D. The odds of all of them forming by chance is 1 times 10 with 40,000 zeros.
E. The same odds as rolling 50,000 straight sixes.
F. The same odds of a hurricane passing through a junkyard resulting in a 747.

And this is STILL an evolutionist…go figure

Its quite evident the logical mind has come to an end of possibilities.

Ok…the forums are open for comments
