i guess the alternative therapy industry shouldn't be mentioned as such...you're right about that!

sorry to be obtuse in my message.....the reason i mentioned Dr. Mercola is he is who a lot of people quote as 'proving' that vaccines are bad - and the 1 study on his website (www.mercola.com) doesn't prove much that's relevant to humans.....i was amused to note that next to his claims is a recommended product section full of alternative treatments and 'cleansing' foods........

i think the alternative treatments can be very useful, from experience as well as from evidence, so it was unfair of me to throw them into the mix........but cleansing foods!

i guess i sort of agree with you on that one - as long as you eat healthily, you don't need to fast and only eat cleansing food for a week........strikes me as a bit of a rip off really.
