I am sorry if you misunderstood me Ev,

I support alternative therapy (acupuncture, reflexology, homeopathy) - just not all of them. I will only ever support these therapies if there is evidence (in the form of scientific studies) that they work and that they are not dangerous. I also support Western medicine - just not all of it! Again, if there is not enough evidence then me AND my children will wait.

Quick note - remember both western medicine and alternative medicine has companies which make profits. It is very easy to think of Pharmaceutical companies as evil and herbal remedy companies as healthy and pure - but at the end of the day they are pretty much the same, both make a profit! And I don't begrudge either my money for their work, as long as my money produces results - that is all I care about. Labels are a dangerous thing.......

The reason that I am here is because I have heard about questions raised by vaccinations, I want to learn from you. But I seem to have problems here. I hear a lot of distressing stories from parents who have been through some horrible situations, but I see very little hard evidence that what you are saying is correct.

I do appreciate the link to http://www.mercola.com - and I never said he was unbalanced (maybe you should reread my post), I actually said I thought the website was unbalanced in its view. It doesn't seem to discuss any benefits of vaccination - and lets be fair, there are benefits. Whether they outweight the risk is the question that I am trying to answer for myself.

To those of you who are helping, I am grateful for your assistance in this matter. For those of you who have called me an evil doctor or a troll or just given me general abuse, please stop...disagree with me, but do so in a reasonable manner!
