I use lemon juice for liver flushes. The limes are a change of pace and add a nice flavor to the drink. The one batch of straight lemonade I made reminded me of the Liver Flush drink and I could hardly stand the stuff. I'm just finishing my lax. tea and I think I'll go get a little lemon-lime ade to get the taste out of my mouth.
