That reminds me of the book Farenheit 421, where the nonconformists are chased down and "taken care of." It's scarily close enough to that already, looks like it could progress even more that direction in the future, vaccination-wise.

My aunt and uncle had a newborn a few months ago, the aunt is a nurse, and she didn't want to take the baby out into public until after she'd had all her shots. Plus, apparently the baby was colicky with breast milk (?) so now they are feeding her soy formula. Poor, poor child...
