anima and animus is Carl Jung/psychology speak about our masculine and feminine selves.

Women, being female, have a masculine side called animus.

Men, being male, also have a ffeminine side called anima.

The challenge of a fully-functioning, evolved human being is to bring both of these into balance, until you reach practically a state of androgony.

With him being male and so into 2, which is feminine, means that he expresses his anima easier than other men.

With you being female and having so many 1's, which is male, means you are in touch with your animus side. And being challenged by the 6, which is all about service and family, could mean that you are challenged somehow by the more traditional ideas of femininity.
