Needing to eat all day and remaining thin sounds like a Pitta or Vata body type? Pitta has great appetite, Vata has so-so appetite and find it tough to maintain weight. Has he done the test to find out his Dosha? :)

I so admire people who work with their hands, crafts people, the like. :)
