Maybe we need to define democracy again, after it has been so violated itself. War for the sake of democracy, bring democracy to Islam! What a crock, misuse of the word democracy. And the election theft in 2000 [Bee-el-Zee-Bush, the Pres.George Bush Jr., the one with less votes, see M.Moore S.W.M.]

Okaythen, true democracy, or the type we need now [since democracy is maleable] we agree on these I'm sure:
1]one vote per person, everybody has one vote.
2]the will of the majority will choose its leaders to do that will.
3]while at the same time uphold the rights of every individual

.... whoa, maybe we don't agree on #3. Can it be done? The world has yet to accomodate me and people like me [Lapis!],but I do have value in many ways but 'no commercial potential'. Perhaps bad examples ha ha but obviously there are many [homeless] who are being violated if democracy is meant to serve them too.
Does democracy have pity quotient?
It has been said that a society can be judged by how it cares for its disabled. Ha, we are going to hell. There was a time when survival meant putting the old ones on an iceberg [lucky buggers] , but I am sure we can afford it.

But how do we keep from electing Steroid Freaks who appeal to a visual ideal, and have nothing else to offer? Arnold didn't say one word about policy!
Could a definition of democracry help? How about if we made it a rule that the winner has to ensure that everyone has shelter within one year or be recalled? Would that scare off the Arnolds?

Call-ee-FORN-yahhh ha ha ha ha ha ha, the didn't even raise the question of 'is he anything other than appeal?'. He will surround himself with people who know what to do, in the best interests of business and the wealthy.
