i'm stunned, but my inquizzitive mind keeps popping out questions like why would they erase gunther's memory and simply not kill him or throw him in jail on some island never to be seen again? and raylean, too, for that matter? the only asnwer to me is that they (whoever did this) considered the punishment far worse than death. it sends shivers down my spine.
