my friend buys iflora but i can't take it because they cut it with rice powder. iflora has 30 billion per gram which translates into 15 billion per capsule. this translates into 900 billion bacteria per bottle.

therefore, you can take a whole bottle of iflora or 2 packets of VSL#3 and both will deliver the same number of bacteria ---- 900 billion. economically speaking (if it is just based on bacterial counts) then VSL#3 is a much better buy. ( $5.40 vs Iflora $22.00 ???????)

iflora must have pulled the sporogenes bacteria from the product because it is no longer there. also they have a yeast formula with only 6 strains and no sporogenes.
