blue dahhhling,

Just got back from the doctor. I have this neat little packet with a giant BIOHAZARD on it in orange. It is filled with about nineteen different things I have to do with my poop before I can bring it back in. The lab lady called it my "fun pack". Yep, happy meal toys from hell. Things to smear my poop on, things to hold my poop, and things to scoop my poop into and shake.

Why, you ask, so many tests? Well, the lab seems to have MISPLACED the first 2 stool samples I gave so my ever-so-understanding doctor (he stares at me, unblinking, like a lizard when I try to talk to him) is making me do them again and not letting me wait until they show up. Plus, they are testing me for e. coli and some other stuff I have no idea except maybe platelets.

They also took about five gallons of blood to test. I'm sorry, but if you're a professional phlebotomist, doesn't that mean that you shouldn't jab someone repeatedly with a needle reapeating the phrase, "oops, looks like your vein keeps moving"?

Sounds like you are getting some pretty strong symptoms and that your guts are cleared for takeoff. Why we didn't invest in the toilet paper market before all this is beyond me.

On the upside, I have lost 8 pounds in 6 days!

OK, so, I'm waiting to go to the bathroom, for some reason everything STOPPED today. I just ate a raw clove of garlic and things may be happening again. Control tower is standing by. My stomach is quieter but hurts and is WAY distended.

Wow, you have done the master cleanse! I am so trying to work up my courage to do that, although I haven't been able to eat much of anything for about 4 days. I have actually been surviving on Superfood and the Master-Cleanse lemonade.

OK, I suspect I am rambling. DO fill me in on any new happenings!
