I think the advice you have gotten thus far has been good. I would like to caution you a bit though. Make sure you don't go overboard because if you have been possessive in the past, she may see you as a potential stalker. So, don't call her 75 times a day. Perhaps send her a card. Let her know you care. You can call her once in a while, just don't scare her or it will never work out.
