I think you have it right, by detoxing the kidneys and liver.
Tha only thing that I would do different is start with the colon, where colon toxicity may be the root problem that has led to liver/kidney stress/toxicity. Work from the exit organ , inward ,and remove all bottlenecks in that order.

Any local application on the eyes would only work in a cosmetic fashion, IMO. The problem in in the digestive organs.

Once detoxed, you may want to try a regime of enemas/colonics and probiotics ? I've has great success with maintaining a healthy flora for the health of the intestines with L.Salivarius, a "cousin" to acidophilus and unlike acidophilus, a proteolitic bacteria (acts upon protein). Salivarius is found in high amounts in collostrum, but then , interestingly enough, drops to trace amounts once milk starts to flow. It sets up the "backbone" and gridwork for the other probiotics.
