In a way I agree with what you said. I talked to my g/f and she agrees that its not the proper way 100% to tell my family to bug off. To be honest the best advice I have been given outside this board was by my friend. He told me that I should just leave my family (my mother in particular)out of my business until I speak to a therapist. Kinda hide what I am doing and leave it at that for the time being. Not sure if its the perfect thing to do, but its a temporary option for now. Coming from him (my friend) I literally could not believe he said that to me because he is very family oriented. I think he is a smart person.
