In my heart I agree with you 100%. Curezone helped save my life a few years ago. Now I am dealing with problems so serious I am losing my ability to walk. I may have to have surgery this summer even though the odds of it being effective is less than 50%. I can't live with this pain much longer. I scour Health Forums seeking answers and asking for advice. But, that is me (and others) who come here for help and support and received it.
Curezone has grown so large and complicated. I appreciate the effort that has gone in to trying to have something for everyone on the 'zone, but in this case quantity has not increased the quality. I really don't think we can go back to the way it was. Debate Forums and Blogs are very popular while many other forums stay unvisited for months at a time. The only answer that works for me is to ignore the forums where I am pretty sure to be offended, I also avoid posters I find offensive. I figure if the best way to get a child to stop throwing tantrums is to ignore them, then the best way to get rid of ugly, insulting, offensive posters is to ignore them. Don't respond, don't try to reason with them, don't even vote, just ignore them. That may not be the best way-I wasted a lot of time here trying to figure what happened to get so many folk's panties in a bunch by reading endless tirades-but its the only thing that works for me. I'm not a great debater, I don't have time for endless cut and paste posts or ego feeding Blogs, but if it makes others happy then who am I to demand they be removed? Its only when I sense potential danger that I tend to speak up, but my voice is weak here. There is still a wealth of knowledge, help and support here and that is why I visit Curezone almost daily.
