Hello There People,

This is the loner. I know some of youse might not take me seriously cause I post silly things in some forums like the one where they tell me I can stop eating and just live on air! But really this is an honest question and I would like a real answer from someone because I don't understand.

From my short time here it seems like some messages people find offensive go poof in the night and are gone forever, other messages don't. Messages with mean nasty personal attacks or other things get deleted.

And yet messages that promote racist hatred just go on and on stinking up this whole web site.

Why is that?

I think this is what smart people call "a double standard." But since I am not smart I'll just call it weird.

Why do some messages that are hateful and spiteful get deleted, but if those messages are hateful or spiteful in a racist manner then thats okay?

This just doesn't make sense to me. I mean maybe there is a perfectly good explanation that I don't see right now because I am just not as smart as everyone else. So I hope someone comes along and explains it to me, that would be great.

Can anyone explain this to me?
