Many of you reported problems when trying to post a blank message.
Software would automatically send you to a previous (blank) message you posted (even if subject of your message was slightly different (end of the subject was different, the beginning was the same ...)).
This was sometimes a bug, sometimes not.
It was a bug if a subject of your message was very long, and it wasn't a bug if a subject of your message was short.
Bug is now corrected.
But, you will still not be allowed to post 2 blank messages with the same subject.
You will be automatically sent to a previous identical message.
Why? Why can't I correct this bug?
Cause that is not a bug. Software is expected to behave like that.
Why?
Cause that prevents double messages. Before implementation of this software, it was common that people post a double message, or even 7 times the same message.
Sometimes it was just a double click on the post message button, sometimes it was problems with network, so people kept trying until they got "success" message, but until they got it, they already posted the same message many times....
So, software will not allow for identical message posted into the same forum (or even into the different forum), even if message is blank.
It is not a bug, it is the correct way.
9thbody, lisag & Hally, you all felt that on your skin.
9thbody, it is not a moderator Conspiracy against you, it is a Conspiracy against double messages, and unfortunately, you were the only one posting long subject messages with a blank message body.
