I went through this several months ago and stayed off the forum for a while. Though I was still reading it. I got definitely the feeling that people did not like my answers, since I often refer to other answers, so people could read different views. They preferred personal experiences.
I am back now but not as active as before. I threw out all the literature that I had collected to help people. Now I sometimes see a question for which I knew there were answers for before, but now don't get answered and I don't know where to find them.

So may be you can try to take a break too. As you know every few months the forums change since new people keep coming in and some are leaving. And then a few are still around, I have been here now 24 months!
