Yes, when a person of lower consciousness (vibration) is around a person of higher consciousness, it tends to raise their vibration, however the effect is transitory.

If your interested in measuring your current level of consiousness you can do so. In the masterful work by David R. Hawkins "Power vs Force", he explains how you can do this. This work was endorsed by many spiritual leaders including Mother Teresa.
