Everybody is different and reacts differently. 1 tablespoon is a lot to start off with. I just started the HH this morning - 1/2 teaspoon of formula, no capsules. I know that I am personally a little sensitive to Psyllium so I am monitoring myself very carefully. It does say to start off at a certain level (2 teaspoons x 2) but I am always cautious about these things, I know it can take a while to get back in balance if you upset your system - that is like 1 step forward and 2 steps back in the process. It says not to start the capsules until your bowels are moving regularly.

Why dont you wait until you are back to normal, maybe 3/4 days, then start with 1/2 teaspoon for a couple days. Plenty of water. Then perhaps 1/2 teaspoon twice a day - and go from there. Dont add anything to the formula and dont start the capsules until you are regular and then only 1/2 capsule in the beginning. And if you start to get constipated decrease the dose of formula or leave out the capsules.

Bare in mind that when you do a bowel cleanse, the old stuff gets hydrated and loosened off, at some point you may experience a little constipation from this. Learn to give yourself an enema, good way of clearing toxins and giving relief from constipation at any time.
