Now I'm confused.For the past 3 weeks I've been taking a chinese herb(coptis) to stimulate bile production.Now, I'm constipated. I took 1 tablespoon of Epsom Salts and 1 hour later (with great strain) managed a BM consisting of extremely hard greenish pieces of stool. Prior to this I've always had 2 good BM a day.I thought bile was supposed to encourage good elimination?????
