I have always had a lazy bowel. But recently since my diet has changed it has become worse. High protien (no beef, chicken or pork) and low carbs. I am not in pain at all, although I do not feel the urge to go!! I have started to take Flax Oil 3 days ago (2 x a day), but no effects so far! I am taking asidopholis as well. I am extremely frustrated, as I have to take senna or a laxitive to stimulate my colon!!! I know this is bad and only makes things worse. My question is.. Where and how do I begin to build a healthy bowel. I have never done a cleanse .. should I? Another concern is I feel that I have to use the laxitive approach in the meantime if I don't get results. I can go days without the urge if I don't take something.
