hi there:)
I've been on the type A diet for years and yes, it does wonders! However, I have also been on antidepressants for my mood swings and Depression (PMS!). According to a diet to help with these symtoms, I've cut out caffiene (it causes anxiety and irritation), wheat, ALL artificial sweeteners (please be warned that they are cancer-forming and also cause terrible mood swings in PMS sufferers!) and salt (ocean salt is okay though). One food that I've had to include that isn't recommended by the blood type A diet is fish. For those that suffer PMS, fish is a key food for its Omega 3 content, an essential supplement for a natural alternative for Depression etc. Having said this, you can also take Flaxseed Oil (also Omega 3) instead if you really don't want to include fish in your diet.
I guess I just wanted to share this good news for PMS sufferers! Please add any information that may be related in your comments:)
