I think it's fine to have treatments weekly, as with a lot of therapies, but fortnightly would also be fine. It's a matter of personal choice - I know that sometimes treatments are given daily for four consecutive days when treating something that would need a lot of healing. I'd go for weekly, unless your therapist suggests otherwise. The sensations you describe at your head and eye areas are quite common after Reiki, particularly such an intense session as you seem to have had.

As far as colours of copper and gold go, yes, I think that using many different shades could only be a good thing, as each shade has a slightly different vibration.

For distant Reiki, no I don't need too many details - I know your first name and general location, and I already had a mental image of you which I later found was spookily accurate when I read it on one of the threads over at the Webmasters suggestion forum, I think (don't worry I get mental images for lots of Curezone members - I often wonder how many are accurate!).

I will probably be sending it tomorrow (Saturday) afternoon, if not I'll post when.
