You have said a few things concerning reiki that triggered some thoughts. Maybe you can answer a few random questions and comment on my experience.

It was suggested to me several years ago by Tracey that I was to do work with my hands, that perhaps I was an effective channel so I looked into reiki and received from a reiki Master with a reputable distance attunement process. I felt the attunements with out a doubt as I had many feelings such as birds flying around me insects and birds chirping and singing and the sound of universal life force. I came to believe that I could call down the energy myself and did so for the a second attunement.

Meanwhile recently I actually received my first reiki treatment from a friend who has completed 1&2 courses hands on. I have a feeling that she is a very powerful channel as my experience seems to be greater than what I expected. May I talk of my experience?

I assume I may so......
I was lying on my back and she began at my head, I could feel heat and energy a reiki cd was playing in the background with bells at 5 minute intervals I believe. I could feel energy swirling about my head and wondered what she was doing so I opened my eyes and she was at my feet though it felt like she was still at my head. I then began to feel something I thought was in the music. It felt like an old woman was singing in my ear it was the mantra so-ham the "so" and the "hum" combined in the center of my head to form one huge continuous resonance of "OM" that did not break until I would open my eyes or think. I felt the old woman was at my head and chuckling at my friend in a gentle teasing way, I also felt her tell me that I was a tapestry being woven in a loom and I actually felt like it. I "felt" colors purple mostly being woven energetically all around me. It was all there each time I closed my eyes after opening to check whether or not I was dreaming.

After the session I felt that much had been adjusted and I felt that my friend was very effective at moving energy though she might not have known exactly what to do with it she was very intuitive.

I was feeling afterwards that perhaps I should find a hands on teacher. I received a scholarship to complete a program at healing institute here so I went to a workshop, the woman running it did a body scan and though eyes were closed I could feel her applying powerful symbols, during this session as well as my friends I could feel things just as well as I can see with my eyes. I had told her of my distance attunements and asked whether I needed to receive them again from an actual person who could teach me hands on and she said that I have received all the attunements including teaching at a soul level even though I had not used them.

My teacher used several powerful energy methods on the participants, when she got to me I could feel her as if she was inside me and felt much compassion it felt like she was crawling around in my heart and solar plexus. She asked me if I had a difficult time being here on this physical plane and I could feel waves of compassion and began crying myself she told me I was a teacher which is why I chose to myself learn such powerful lessons. She then asked if I was ready to remove some blockages. I felt they were the same blockages I told a hypnotherapist I was ready to remove last year but did not. I felt something akin to a large weight release from my right shoulder and I became lighter.

I feel like a different person after this like I am not the "me" I thought

I feel the 3 levels received and may still utilize a teacher
What if I felt more connected with my friend, than with the teacher? can I learn from my friend who is not master attuned?.
What do you feel of my experience I seemed to feel more from my friend. I believe she is very powerful and I am more sensitive perhaps than she.
Is it possible to have received attunement for a level which I was not even aware of?
