I'm very glad to hear that you now are doing Reiki self-treatments. You are working on a whole lot more than just your ovaries. All levels of body, mind and spirit are being addressed, as well as the cause of the cyst in the first place.

I spent about one hour daily doing the treatment protocol from head to foot. Just doing the sacral chakra where the ovaries reside is not enough. For example, the cause of the cyst could be in the ajna (third eye chakra) or any other area for that matter. So in treating just the ovaries, you could be missing the primary location of the imbalance. Treat the whole body. I did however, spend extra time on my abdomen. Man did it generate a lot of heat there, so I knew I was in the right spot, plus it just felt so soothing and profound. I can remember not being able to do anything but lie down and do the Reiki, because if I stood I hemorraged.

Also, one does not need to remain mentally focused. Not at all actually. Just "be" with the energy, with awareness but not focused thought. No intention is even required. Just allow the energy to flow....... If you have learned the symbols, draw the symbols on your abdomen and other areas and just let go........

It is "enough to just be relaxed". This is the state where healing takes place, in that state of being, not thinking, not doing.


Let me know how it goes. And be aware of the emotional healing that is occuring as well. I had all kinds of insights as to the cause of my fibroids and flooding. And believe me.....the cause was not physical but it was emotional. Once we heal the the emotions, the healing trickles down to the physical.

By the way, I have had ovarian cysts on and off in the past as well, and surgery was suggested for that too. My ovaries are still in tact!!
